If  Hootsuite  is to be believed (and we should), there were over 3.1 billion social media users worldwide in April 2018, up 13% from the previous year. Nearly half of all people on Earth  use Twitter ,  Facebook  and  Instagram . (There are regional differences, though: Russians use  VK , Chinese use  Sina Weibo .)

Sure,  social media comes and goes , but as an umbrella group, it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Consider this:  11 people worldwide start using social media every second  , which works out to about 11 million new users every day.

Even if only a tiny percentage of your audience is in your target audience, that’s still millions of potential customers. And those customers want content that’s beautiful and engaging. Writer’s block? We’ve got you covered.

I admit, some followers dropp  out after the winner was announc , but over 95% of the new followers sta . Being sympathetic generates sympathy!

 

Announce new products and promotions

Do you have something new to sell? Or is there a sale coming up? Tell it in short, concise messages on social m ia. That way, your message will stand out from other messages. Preferably support your text with a photo. Or even better: with video. Did you know that a Twitter message with video  is shar  on average 6 times more often  than a tweet with a photo?

 

Show your skills

Your target audience should see what beautiful projects you have already complet  or what cool products you sell. Do you want to display a photo in a cool way on Instagram, for 10 social nedia marketing trends for 2020 example? Use mock-ups to put your products in a nice frame or dynamic video. More than 500 million people  watch videos on Facebook every day. In fact, a third of all time spent online is spent watching videos. The near-universal availability of high-spe  internet has made this possible. (Remember when you had to wait five minutes for a minute-long video to buffer?) An add  benefit of the modern video-hungry consumer is that the video doesn’t have to be high quality or agb directory minutes long. Snapchat and Facebook Live have proven this. Ten to fifteen seconds of real-time, easily accessible content is all that’s requir  of you.

 

Ask for ratings and reviews

If you know your customers love you, why not encourage them to spread the word? Social m a is the perfect place to ask your audience to write something on the big rating sites. Of course, you should include a direct link to the review site in your post. Make it easy for your customers!
